The Center for New Beginnings has three clinic locations: Waynesboro, Millen, and Evans, Ga. We offer clinic, in-home, or school-based therapy in the following counties: Richmond, Columbia, Burke, Jenkins, Screven, Liberty, Emanuel, Glascock and Jefferson. Your Valued Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients using ABLLS, VB-MAPP, PEAK, Vineland, or other qualified assessment
  • Maintain caseload of clients
    • Number of clients determined based on required billable hours monthly
  • Complete a Functional Behavior Assessment and complete a Behavior Intervention Plan for clients that need it
  • Develop and implement skills acquisition programs in Central Reach
  • Develop and implement social skills programs
  • Conduct parent trainings monthly and collect data over time
  • Develop treatment plans every 6 months for each client 
  • Collaborate with other treatment team members such as SLP’s, OT’s, or teachers

Client Caseload Specific:

  • Assessment
  • Treatment planning/update
  • Program book and data sheet creation/updating in Central Reach
  • Parent Training
  • Program Modification and Supervision for RBT’s
  • Update protocols including but not limited to: 
    • Daily client schedules 
    • Response to Behaviors 
    • Communication logs 
    • Support documents for RBT’s 

Staff Specific:

  • Monthly evaluation of staff using pre-made form
  • Assist in monthly assigned clinic meetings
  • Edit treatment plans of peer BCBA
  • Meet monthly with BCBA team
  • Assist in all staff trainings
  • Complete RBT competency checklists or RBT renewals 

Position Requirements:

  • Must be currently certified as a BCBA with the Behavior Analytic Certification Board. Individuals who have recently completed their Master's Degree and/or are waiting to take the BACB exam will be considered on an individual basis within our tier system.
  • Maintain CEU requirement and BCBA credential with Behavior Analytic Certification Board (BACB).
  • Obtain and maintain a good standing certification commiserate with treatment provided.
  • Training and clinical experience in providing ABA services to children and families.
    • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders preferred.
  • Analyze a variety of clinical and social data to determine appropriate treatment plan goals and monitor effectiveness of the programming that is implemented.
